This research project aims to develop standardised guidelines for reporting on hygiene and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions.
Currently, reporting on how these interventions are implemented and evaluated is inconsistent, making it challenging to compare their effectiveness across various programs and contexts. To address this, the research team will create a comprehensive toolkit and checklist to standardise reporting on key aspects of hygiene/WASH interventions, including:
The goal is to mainstream these reporting standards across the hygiene/WASH sector. This would allow for easier comparison of interventions and help identify the most effective approaches in different settings. Ultimately, this could lead to better-designed programs and policies to improve hygiene and health outcomes globally.
