About Me

I am an applied nutritional anthropologist dedicated to understanding how vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, navigate challenges to their health and well-being. My research integrates anthropology, global health, and nutrition to provide holistic insights into issues affecting communities worldwide.

Currently, my work is focused on quantifying people’s experiences with water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). By developing and implementing innovative measurement tools, I aim to improve the assessment of water insecurity and its profound effects on health, nutrition, and livelihoods. This research is crucial for shaping policies and interventions that enhance global health outcomes.

My ongoing research seeks to advance our understanding of how water insecurity intersects with health and nutrition. By working across disciplines and geographies, I strive to bridge knowledge gaps and inform sustainable solutions that empower communities. I collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including academic institutions, policymakers, and humanitarian organizations, to ensure that research translates into meaningful change.
